The Scoot Overture is a fun tune, adapted
& arranged by Scott Orvis (better known as "Scoot Over"), and was recorded
in two sessions. The first session is by Scott Orvis (piano) & Paul Dunn (guitar) at
LDM in Oct. 1986; the second is by Scott Orvis (piano), Mike Newman (bass drum), &
Richard Hight (toiletpaper rolls!?) and somebody else with a bell, recorded in Leesburg,
Virginia on Aug. 20, 1987. The recordings and song title are by Roland! The
recording presented here includes the two versions back to back. The music video, recorded
during the second session, is not available online yet.
