Wow, how do I get the last 14 or so years into a paragraph? Let me just give you a little time line, all the juicy details will have to be left for a time when we can sit down together or at the very least "talk" over email. We would love to hear from you!
1986-91: I remained working with Mel and the girls.
1989: Chuck came to an ICT.
1990: Chuck and I worked together on the "Concerts of Praise", where our SR started shortly there after.
1991: We got married in May, I stopped working with Mel.
1991-94: We did various and sundry things at LDM. Grace was born in September of 1993.
1994: We left LDM and spent time in Maine getting to know a local church body. Chuck started School of the Bible at Dayspring in Tyler.
1995: Olivia was born in May. Finished SOTB in June and moved to Colorado Springs to work with Fred Markert at YWAM Strategic Frontiers.

Laura Field
Pensacola, Florida
LDM: 12/79 - 8/87
When I left LDM for YWAM Tyler in 1987, King's Kids was on my heart. I completed an SOE and expected to dive in to King's Kids development full-time, but that never really happened. For the next 7 years I worked at CHS and as a Loving Alternative case worker (including Ayalas' and Geigers' kids!), King's Kids on the side. From 1994-97 I left Tyler to work full-time with King's Kids in Atlanta and B.C., Canada. Soon after moving to Canada I hit "The Wall" - HARD, due to a series of crisis and built-up "stuff", (long story, but perhaps you know what I mean). God took me through a long process of healing through a wonderful church family there. It was a VERY difficult time in most every way, but now I thank God for it, for delivering me, and allowing me to begin to go deeper with Him.
Since fall of 1997, I have been in Pensacola, FL at Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. My official title is Resident Director, which means I oversee resident (dormitory) students. Unofficial title is "Mom". This was definitely not on my list of things to do, nor was Brownsville on my list of places to go ("What do they need a missionary THERE for??") But God spoke to the leaders there, AND to me, and here I am. In some ways this is like returning to my roots. Two of the main leaders were mentored by Leonard Ravenhill, and are always quoting him. And the hunger and passion seem to reflect the best parts of LDM. I get to pour myself into young women, with all kinds of needs, from all backgrounds, most of whom are preparing for missions and leadership. I frequently take teams of students to Blood-N-Fire, a radical inner-city ministry in Atlanta (which really messes them up). I am not sure why I have been so incredibly blessed and privileged to be able to do this for the past 3 years (perhaps not much longer?).
