Joie & Dawn (Coenen) Kampen
DePere, Wisconsin
Joie and Dawn live near Green Bay in DePere, WI. We got married in Oct 1987 at LDM after having served there for five years. We have four children: Jacob-10, Jedidiah-9, Lena-7, and Luke-5.
Dawn has homeschooled all four of the children for their entire education; no small feat in addition to keeping a household of six clean and fed. Both of us are very active in our local church. Dawn is part of the hospitality ministry to welcome visitors, assists in teaching children's classes, coordinated the prayer chain, and delivers meals to families in needy circumstances. Joie has been in various leadership capacities, currently entering his fifth year as an elder. Joie has spent over twelve years in the electrical products field. He is employed by Panduit Corporation as a sales representative. We love gardening and canning, and enjoy swimming and bike riding.

Brad & Kathy Koenig
Hopkinsville, Kentucky
(As of 2001, Cameroon, West Africa)
Married Kathy on Jan. 14, 1989.
2 boys--Wayne born Nov. 1, 1989,
Evan born Oct. 16, 1993.
Vocation: We are serving the Lord as missionaries with World Team, doing linguistic work in Cameroon among the Esimbi tribe, on a church planting team. While Kathy homeschools, Brad is learning the language in preparation for the Bible translation and literacy efforts. Our family is our greatest earthly blessing (and challenge). Being missionaries is the most fulfilling (and hardest) job we've ever had.
Lynn (Martin) & Greg Cowell
Charlotte, North Carolina
Greg and I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina with our three wonderful children - Zachary 8, Mariah 5 and Madison 3. The main focus of our lives right now both spiritually and physically is raising our children to love the Lord. I homeschool them which takes quite a bit of my time each day. One thing I particularly enjoy is all the reading (classic literature) and studying (history) that I missed in my own school years. Greg is a Regional Manager for Principal Insurance Group. We are involved in a non-denominational church here in Charlotte where we help with a small group, discipleship and children's classes. As an "adult" I often reflect on my time as LDM and thank the Lord for such a wonderful foundation that it gave me for life and marriage.
I hope you all are as blessed as we are ...have a wonderful time together!
