Am not going to be able to make the reunion ...would have LOVED to have been there but my youngest son is only 5 months old and is too young to leave with anyone. I thought about coming by myself and leaving my wife with the kids...but leaving her with three kids ages 5 and under would have pretty much eliminated my chances at husband of the year award. Hope you have a great time at the reunion. Blessings to all.

Mike & Janine Newman
Wishart (Brisbane), Queensland, Australia
We left Last Days in June,1990 feeling that God had new things in
store for us in Janine's home country of Australia. I have been blessed to have had steady
employment in the graphic design industry here, and have been working as Production
Manager/Graphic Designer for an International Marketing company based here on the Gold
Coast of Queensland. The company was founded by a Christian family 17 years ago and their
Christian values continue to be the chief influence in both the philosophy and direction
for the company. Janine is Director and Teacher at a local Kindergarten and has been for
the last 10 years. Although now working part-time, she has also gone back to University
part time to get her Masters in Business Administration as well as being a full time mom.
We have two incredibly action packed kids, Christopher(6) and Emily(3) who are so much fun
that we would probably still hang out with them, even if they weren't our kids. The above
mentioned stuff pretty much takes all of our time and energy and apart from our Church
involvement our main interests include finding creative places to pass out from exhaustion
and looking for really good Mexican food in Australia (not as simple as it sounds).
Thanks again for putting this together, I believe that it will be a
huge blessing to so many people. We pray that it is an amazing weekend for all those who
can make it. Love Mike, Janine & Family.
