Both John & Christine enjoy writing. Christine has done numerous restaurant reviews for a local women's newspaper, and John is working on a children's novel.

Rick & Nan Oswald

Mariposa, California

No words can convey how precious each one of you are to me. In 1979, when Keith picked me up and brought me to the house in Woodland Hills, I had no idea what would be the result. As I travelled to Texas with you I never knew how this family would come to mean so much to me. I have special memories of each one of the 28 people living together in one house. I stayed for almost a year, and then returned to California. Two years later I would visit and spend quality time with Keith on his last days on earth (it was the week of the plane crash.)

I married in 1983 and after two years I took my wife, our son, Jonathan and daughter Marissa (in Nan's womb) to visit the Last Days Community again and stay a whole month. Nobody could possibly understand by background in community without seeing it for themselves. Now my wife could catch a glimpse of the lifelong impact my family in Texas had on me.

I am extremely grateful to the Lord God Almighty for giving me such an experience. Last Days are my "roots" as a believer in Christ Jesus. Leonard Ravenhill, David Wilkerson, and Agape Force were all part of my upbringing. The impact is still alive.

From 1980-1983 the Lord gave me a very close and special relationship with Michelle Brandes. She continues to be a dear friend. God also gave me a couple of days spent with Keith's parents. These times will never be forgotten.

Presently, I live just outside the Yosemite Park boundaries with my wife Nan and our four priceless children. Jonathan (now 15), Marissa (14), Kristen (12), and Timmy (9).

I love the Lord and am honored to have Him call me by name to follow Him. Keep me posted on future get together as I would like to try and participate.

I send my love to you all, Rick Oswald
