LDM Reunions
Weekend of August 17, 2002
In August 2002 a reunion spontaneously came into being, beginning with Roland Heddins, John Chitwood & Mike Tyrrell deciding to get together in East Texas over the weekend of the 17th. Word spread and before we knew it more than 50 people from 7 different states expressed a desire to join us! Several out-of-staters arrived on Friday and a few of us got together for an afternoon at the zoo in Tyler, dinner at East Texas Burger Co. in Mineola, followed by a tour of Teen Mania Ministries (the old LDM ranch). The big get-together took place on Saturday the 17th at Roland's parents' place north of Canton in Van Zandt County. Altogether 52 people--including children--showed up, and a "good time was had by all!"

August 29 & 31, 2002
Another spontaneous reunion took place just before Labor Day 2002. Melody Green & her assistant came to Lindale (from Kansas City) as did Diane Wigstone (from Arlington), and Kurt & Ramona Holland drove down to Greenville, Texas (from near Little Rock). Thursday night 6 of us got together at Roland's place in Lindale, and then on Saturday 23 of us got together at a park in Greenville.
